Ernest, a physiotherapist with vast and diverse clinical practice experience since 2017, dedicates himself to easing pain, restoring function and independence, and improving the quality of life for his patients and clients. He obtained his physiotherapy degree from the University of Ghana in 2016, where he developed a robust academic foundation that underpins his evidence-based and client-centered approach to treatment.

He worked at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital from 2018-2026, gaining extensive experience across multiple disciplines. His clinical work spans OPD, pediatrics, orthopedics, surgical and medical wards, burns and plastics, and cardiothoracic as well as gynaecology and urology wards. He has also contributed to specialised clinics, including the Geriatric and Movement Disorders clinic, managing his caseload of complex conditions that require interdisciplinary collaboration and tailored rehabilitation strategies. As a seasoned therapist, he has worked voluntarily in some sporting fields as well as in the community, making him an all-round physiotherapist.

His professional focus traverses direct patient care. As a clinical tutor, he helped mentor and shaped the next generation of physiotherapists, fostering clinical reasoning, ethical practice and compassionate service. He has served in various capacities of the physiotherapy department of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital as well as the Ghana Association of Physiotherapists Working with Older People.

Ernest is driven by a simple mantra – that rehabilitation goes beyond recovery; it restores dignity, confidence, and return to participation in daily activities. His physiotherapy skills are grounded in clinical excellence, adaptability, and continuous learning, offering holistic rehabilitation, structured intervention planning, and measurable functional outcomes.

Outside the clinic and patient care, Ernest enjoys listening to music and exercising to stay alert, sharp and focused.
